About this event

The Boreal Forest is home to over 3.7 million people world wide, many of which depend on the plants, animals and fungi that grow within them for sustenance. The boreal forest is home to a plethora of delicious and nutritious wild foods and this tour dives right into discovering and rediscovering the amazing breadbasket that is our forests!

This guided tour will be approximately 1 - 1.5 hours long and will help discover, identify and learn much more about many easily found wild forgeable foods within our backyard. Each tour will be slightly different as plants and mushrooms come and go, but there's always so much to see and find, we'll never run out of great specimens! The tour will run rain or shine so please dress accordingly. In the event of severe weather see below *.
